Assure measurement accuracy with our ISO 17034-certified density standards, now conveniently available online. These standards meet ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 requirements.
Anton Paar GmbH is an officially recognized reference material producer, accredited as per ISO 17034 by the Austrian accreditation body Akkreditierung Austria, and authorized to fabricate density standards. The respective quality standard specifies particular requirements for traceable, accurate, stable, and homogeneous reference material.
Density measurements - accurate and traceable
Anton Paar uses a highly accurate hydrostatic weighing apparatus as a reference for the specification of density standards. The density standards are traceable to the International System of Units (SI).
Hydrostatic weighing is the most accurate and precise method to measure liquid density and is therefore defined as an absolute method (primary method). See this Anton Paar Wiki article to learn more about hydrostatic weighing.
Guaranteed reference values
In contrast to any ISO 17025-certified standard, specified reference values for an ISO 17034-certified reference material are guaranteed throughout its complete lifetime. To monitor the stated density, we measure each batch of our standards once every three months. Certificates are available online and they are always up to date.
Principles of Quality (ISO 17034)
Our customers know: Anton Paar stands for the highest precision and quality. We offer an assurance of continuous normative, legislative, and procedural conformity. As an accredited manufacturer of certified reference materials, we consistently follow the specifications of the underlying ISO 17034 standard.
In case of nonconformities, we instantly inform you about ongoing investigations and possible consequences, and help you quickly obtain a substitute product from us. Where applicable, you may receive important updates on nonconformity, after entering the batch number of your density standard. For the affected density standards, reference material certificates will no longer be available.
