Advanced Rheometry for Fracturing fluids - Testing under Extreme Pressures and Temperatures
Hydraulic fracturing has been a fundamental technique in oil and gas production for many years.
High pressure and high temperature conditions are not uncommon in the oil and gas industry. Therefore, knowledge of the rheological behavior of drilling or fracturing fluids under these environmental conditions is crucial for successful oil and gas production. This application report describes rheological measurements of fracturing fluids using a Modular Compact Rheometer (MCR) equipped with a 1000 bar pressure cell.
