Dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) is a fundamental analysis tool for investigating the thermo-mechanical behavior of polymers, metals or other materials [1].
Different load types (e.g. tension, bending or torsion) can be used to adjust the measurement to real applications. This application report provides important technical information for DMA measurements in torsion and tension using the solid rectangular fixture (SRF).
