The BET surface area of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material was measured using N2 (77 K) on a Nova 800. Repeatability and reproducibility were calculated.
Important properties for this material include the BET surface area. For example, the surface area is related to battery performance, where the higher the surface area, the higher the power density and capacity retention. The Anton Paar Nova series was used to measure the BET surface area of LFP cathode powder.
