The Polymer Measurement Systems transform how polymer solutions are measured, providing both density and viscosity readings from a single sample. These cohesive systems are equipped with automated sample changers to simplify the analytical process. They seamlessly compute essential polymer parameters like intrinsic viscosity, K-value, and molecular mass, and display these directly on-screen without requiring a PC or any additional software. This design underscores our dedication to innovation and ease-of-use. This method not only streamlines laboratory operations but also guarantees accurate measurements and dependable data management.

Key features

Advanced analysis capabilities

The system delivers high accuracy in measurements, including a variable inclination angle ideal for measurements of shear-thinning polymer solutions. These features enable polymer manufacturers to precisely measure relevant polymer parameters and improve their quality control sustainably.

Versatile testing range

The capability to test across a wide temperature range (5 °C to 100 °C, with capabilities down to -30 °C with counter-cooling) and a broad viscosity spectrum (0.3 mPa*s to 10,000 mPa*s) not only supports the quality control of proven polymers, but also paves the way for the exploration of novel polymers. This blend of precision and versatility is at the heart of advancing material science, bridging the gap between traditional applications and future innovations.

Integrated polymer software

The integrated polymer software automatically calculates all polymer-relevant parameters, such as intrinsic viscosity, K-value, and molar mass, directly from the measurements of polymer solutions. The average molar mass is derived directly from the measurements and can be computed with individually-selectable correlation methods (e.g., Billmeyer, Solomon-Ciuta), eliminating errors and speeding up your processes.
