Technical Sales Representative – Rheology & Thermal Analysis

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for the direct sales of rheometers and thermal analysis instruments (DSC). This role requires the application of technical and scientific expertise, as well as engineering principles, to promote and sell advanced laboratory and measurement solutions within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include traveling to customer sites to perform demonstrations, installations, and presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive direct sales of Anton Paar benchtop instruments by effectively managing existing customer accounts and developing new business through lead follow-up
  • Regularly visit customer sites to deliver sales presentations and provide training on the proper use of instruments

Your profile:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both PhD-level scientists and quality control technicians
  • Strong ability to work independently and a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics, or a related field required
  • Knowledge of rheology and/or thermal analysis is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight travel (approximately 75% of the time)
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, particularly in working with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of the chemical, materials, and/or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
