Responsibilities:
- International procurement of custom-made parts in compliance with technical specifications and economic conditions
- Conducting price and contract negotiations
- Development and implementation of procurement strategies for specific commodity groups
- Selection, evaluation, consolidation, and management of suppliers
- Effective communication with suppliers and internal departments, as well as handling of complaints
- Ensuring continuous supply
- Close collaboration with Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Production Planning
- Ongoing optimization of procurement processes and activities
Your profile:
- Completed technical education in mechanical engineering or commercial education with additional technical qualification (apprenticeship, technical college, or university)
- Professional experience in international technical purchasing is essential (preferably with low-cost countries)
- Sound technical understanding
- Legal knowledge and SAP skills are an advantage
- Excellent German and English skills
- Strong business mindset combined with high social competence
- Independent, structured, and quality-conscious way of working
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3,600 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That’s why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
