Expand our product management team!As a product manager for our torque rheometers and viscometers in the food sector—including the FarinoGraph—you will make a decisive contribution to the success and future of our company. Your goal: Through strategic thinking, creative innovation, and your drive, you will ensure that our products remain at the forefront of the market. You will be responsible for increasing sales and contribution margins, improving product quality, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your role will include developing market strategies, innovative product ideas, and sales support. Responsibilities:

 

  • Overall product responsibility: You will be responsible for the economic success of the assigned product portfolio, increasing sales and maximizing contribution margins, improving product quality and profitability, increasing customer satisfaction, and ensuring technical reliability and superiority over competitors.  
  • Market strategy and portfolio planning: Market observation, competitive analysis, and strategic planning of the product portfolio in coordination with the product line manager.
  • Innovation management and product development: Development of business cases, optimization of existing products, and development of new products in close cooperation with the specialist departments. Planning of product launches.
  • Pricing strategy and budgets: Setting prices, controlling the sales budget, and responsibility for your own budget.
  • Sales support and knowledge transfer: Conducting and preparing training courses, product presentations, webinars, e-learning courses, and supporting key customers. Participating in and planning business trips, trade fairs, and conferences
  • Marketing and product launches: Supporting the marketing team in creating sales and marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and web content

 

 

 

Your profile:

  • Training as a master baker or food technician.
  • Alternatively, a degree in food technology or similar, as well as advanced knowledge in the areas of business administration or marketing, would be an advantage.
  • Prior knowledge in the field of analytics, preferably in the area of flour/dough/baked goods.
  • Several years of experience in product management, ideally in an international environment, would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with research and development projects
  • Very good communication and presentation skills and team orientation
  • Experience in working with strategically important customers
  • Willingness to travel worldwide for trade fairs and customer visits
  • Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of SAP, Jira, and Confluence is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
