Patent Engineer (f/m/x)

• Evaluation of new invention disclosures and management of the entire process from idea to patent application
• Administration and monitoring of our extensive national and international patent portfolio
• Coordination of new intellectual property applications and management of the entire process from idea to patent grant
• Execution of freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses to minimize and prevent intellectual property infringements
• Support in patent-related assessments and analyses within the scope of due diligence processes
• Monitoring and analysis of competitor activities in the field of intellectual property rights

• Completed technical or scientific degree in Physics, Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering; additional qualification or training in intellectual property law is an advantage
• Several years of relevant professional experience in patent engineering, patent research, or IP management
• Experience in handling invention disclosures, patent applications, and managing patent portfolios
• Confident in using patent databases and standard MS Office applications
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• Structured, precise, and independent working style
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 4,500 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
