Patent Engineer – Entry-Level Position for Outstanding Technical Talent (f/m/x)

• Technical assessment of new inventions and support throughout the entire patenting process, from the initial idea to international filing
• Management and monitoring of our extensive patent portfolio
• Coordination of new patent applications and support in preparing patent grants
• Conducting freedom-to-operate analyses to avoid infringements of intellectual property rights
• Participation in patent-related examinations, searches, and due-diligence analyses
• Monitoring and analysing the competitive landscape in the field of industrial property protection

• Completed degree in physics, technical physics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
• Ideally, initial exposure to patents or intellectual property (IP); the necessary training will be provided and supported by Anton Paar
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to analyse complex developments with precision
• A structured, diligent, and independent way of working
• Excellent German and English skillsStrong communication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 4.500 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
