National Service Manager Anton Paar Netherlands

With a focus on manufacturing high-quality measurement and laboratory instruments for industry and research, Anton Paar is known for both precision and innovation.We are looking for someone to join our team as National Service Manager, who will be responsible for leading the Service organization towards its business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Service Technicians, including recruitment, performance evaluation, scheduling, and professional development.
  • Ensure all Service Technicians receive appropriate training and continuously enhance their technical skills through ongoing development initiatives.
  • Enforce service department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with corporate, industry, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, including repair time logs, maintenance statistics, and test results.
  • Analyze and report product failure trends and performance issues to relevant product management teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the identification, calibration, and routine maintenance of test equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and lead negotiations to establish and renew service contracts.
  • Monitor and respond to Customer Feedback Surveys to drive customer satisfaction and improve service quality.
  • Coordinate and prepare for regular audits in collaboration with Regional Service Management.
  • Perform additional duties and support initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role in a technical service environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support technical teams in a dynamic, service-focused setting.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic schematics, diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair instruments to provide effective technical support.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Committed to continuous professional development, including regular participation in mandatory in-house technical training programs.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written) is required; additional language skills are a plus.
