Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing and processing of mechanical components using laser sintering, laser cutting, laser welding, and laser marking machines
- Independent setup of laser machines and associated automation systems
- Execution of preparatory and follow-up tasks related to laser processing (e.g. cleaning components and machines)
- Visual and geometric inspection of mechanical components according to production drawings and inspection instructions
- Execution of production-related quality checks (helium leak tests, visual inspection of weld seams)
- Taking on organizational tasks in coordination with the department manager
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training in metal technology or training as a laser processing specialist
- Several years of professional experience as a laser technician
- Certificates in laser processing, training as a visual testing (VT) inspector, and laser safety officer are an advantage
- Training and/or practical knowledge in welding technology is an advantage
- Good command of German
- Manual dexterity, highly precise and independent working style

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3.000 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That’s why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
