IT License and Asset Manager (f/m/x)

Responsibilities:

  • Establishment and maintenance of a central license register (license balance, license history, contract and usage data)
  • Management of software licenses throughout the entire lifecycle (request, procurement, allocation, renewal, decommissioning)
  • Preparation and support of true-ups and renewals (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, engineering software, cloud subscriptions)
  • Maintenance and further development of the CMDB / IT asset database, including data quality, classifications, and relationships
  • Analysis of installation, inventory, and usage data to optimize license inventories and costs
  • Creation of reports and evaluations for IT, controlling, and management (consumption, costs, forecast, savings potential)

Your profile:

  • Technical education with a focus on IT (e.g., HTL, university of applied sciences, university) or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in IT license and asset management
  • Familiarity with asset management tools
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3,000 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That’s why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
