Electrical Engineer with International Service Responsibilities (f/m/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a hands-on electrical engineer willing to perform international service work (f/m/d).As part of our technical team, you will work directly on our systems—both in-house during installation and commissioning, as well as at international customer sites. The focus is clearly on practical implementation, commissioning, and maintenance.This position is not purely an office job—the majority of your work will take place directly on the systems, both in-house and on-site at customer locations.
Responsibilities:
- Performing service, maintenance, and repair work for international customers
- Performing electrical installation tasks (cabling, connector assembly, wiring, control panels, etc.), including cold and functional tests in collaboration with suppliers
- Assisting with the implementation of projects from planning through setup, installation, and commissioning of our skills.lab training and measurement systems
- Assisting with mechanical assembly and service tasks
- Further developing existing systems and collaborating on the creation of circuit diagrams, assembly and installation plans, as well as technical documentation for our systems
- Independently troubleshooting and resolving issues with electrical and mechanical components
Your profile:
- Completed technical training in electrical engineering or automation technology (apprenticeship, HTL)
- Experience in electrical installation in plant and mechanical engineering, as well as the appropriate authorization to perform such work
- Strong hands-on approach and enjoyment of practical work
- Ability to read, understand, and create electrical schematics
- Broad technical understanding and willingness to assist with mechanical tasks
- Independent and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills when collaborating with other departments
- Enthusiasm for the development of new technologies
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent German and good English skills
- Class B driver’s license

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees of companies in the field of data processing and information technology services. The minimum salary under the collective agreement is EUR 3.267,- gross per month (full-time). Your actual compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
