Department Manager IT Applications (f/m/x)

• Leadership of the Business IT Applications department (12 employees)
• Responsibility for and assurance of IT services in the applications area (including ECM, PLM, SAP Basis)
• Management of change requests and participation in national and international projects – from selection to implementation of new IT applications
• Close collaboration with business units and subsidiaries to ensure the operation of IT applications across the group (serving more than 4,500 users)
• Operational support for team members with methodological and technical issues
• Planning and coordination of tasks, deadlines, and resources within the department
• Coordination and management of external partners and service providers

• Completed IT education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, Technical University) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in managing IT applications
• Leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
• Technical affinity: SQL, REST, Tomcat, Python, PowerShell are no strangers to you
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to proactively and solution-oriented manage operational tasks

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 5.000 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
