Department Manager Electronics Engineering (f/m/x)

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead your own discipline team within the R&D division, including technical leadership, coaching, and continuous development of team members
  • Develop electronic system concepts and overview diagrams such as block diagrams in close cooperation with other development disciplines
  • Design and create circuits and approve PCB designs created by the layouting team
  • Develop testing concepts for PCBs in coordination with manufacturing and verify your circuit designs hands-on in the lab
  • Prioritize and coordinate work packages within the discipline team and across interface roles in a multi-project environment
  • Ensure an efficient, quality-oriented workflow within your discipline and in collaboration with central functions at headquarters as well as with our production subsidiaries
  • Contribute to shaping the electronics development process as Process Owner, representing hardware development within the company (including participation in cross-functional initiatives for process improvement)

Your profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering; experience in electrical measurement technology is an advantage
  • Solid knowledge in circuit design, verification, and implementation
  • Experience with safety and regulatory standards (e.g. EMC, CE, UL)
  • Hands-on experience in the lab or workshop (e.g. soldering, electrical measurement technology)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken German and English (minimum level B2)
  • Motivation to take on responsibility and to shape a team and its structures
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop people
  • Analytical mindset, high quality standards, and precise working style

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 5,000 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That’s why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
