Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

As an Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you take pride in accurately reflecting our business operations in ongoing bookkeeping at all times. With your commercial qualification, you find the ongoing tasks easy, such as reconciling receivables and payables in the fully integrated SAP system. You prepare monthly and annual financial statements and accompany external audits. You value close collaboration with Human Resources and Logistics. 

Responsibilities: 

• Bookkeeping: You independently carry out the ongoing bookkeeping for our development and production site within the Anton Paar Group. 

• Payment run preparation: You take on ongoing tasks, such as reconciling receivables and payables, managing reminders, and reconciling intercompany settlements. 

• Sales tax: You reliably submit ongoing VAT returns and aggregate reports. 

• Financial statements: You independently prepare the monthly and annual statements and produce them in collaboration with group accounting and the external tax office. 

• Accompanying external audits: You competently and professionally accompany external audits, especially financial and tax audits. 

• Cross-departmental: You also support additional administrative tasks as needed, thereby expanding your scope of work. 

Requirements: 

• Well-educated: You have completed your commercial training or studies with a focus on accounting. 

• Experienced: You have at least two years of practical experience in accounting. 

• System knowledge: Ideally, you have solid knowledge of SAP or a comparable system. 

• Effectiveness: You are well-organized and can independently and effectively prioritize your workload. 

• Communication: You enjoy communication, including fluent English in spoken and written form, and you enjoy working in an internationally operating corporate group.
