Thermal Analysis with Julia DSC
The Julia DSC series is the first instrument from the Thermal Analysis (TAN) product line, launched in 2025. DSC stands for differential scanning calorimetry. This method measures how much heat a material absorbs or releases when it is heated or cooled. This makes it possible to determine, for example, when a material melts, crystallizes, or cures.
Julia DSC features an integrated cooling system for measurements down to –35 °C. Additional cooling modules enable measurements at temperatures as low as –170 °C. The Julia Suite software assists with selecting measurement methods and performing calibrations and checks measurement quality. These types of analyses are used in industries including polymers and pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food.

More than 130 innovations across 16 categories are up for consideration in the 2026 Best of Industry Award. The winners are determined through an online vote. The top three companies in each category will be announced in early December.
