The beauty and the zeta potential - Determine formulation stability and behaviour of cosmetic products

Long-term stability of formulations is a big challenge in the development of personal care products. The zeta potential provides a reliable prediction of emulsion stability and has thus been employed in the design of complex formulations for a long time.

But did you know that the zeta potential offers other insights in the fate of cosmetics products during their application?

In this webinar we communicate the application of the zeta potential analysis for various natural material and model surfaces relevant for cosmetics applications, such as

  • human hair and its affinity towards shampoo and conditioner ingredients,
  • skin and model analogues for the investigation of soaps and creams, and
  • the change in soft contact lenses during wear.

These applications are complemented by the determination of the zeta potential of cosmetics formulations.
