Ryan is a recent addition to the Anton Paar, USA team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics, and his PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, from Virginia Commonwealth University, on the control of electronic characteristics of phosphorene nanoribbons and monolayers. During his time at VCU, Ryan gained experience in a variety of characterization techniques from the Nanomaterials Core Characterization Facility including AFM, TEM, SEM and XRD.
