Is this metal particle fresh enough? On the reuse of metal powders in 3D printing

Is this metal particle fresh enough? On the reuse of metal powders in 3D printing

The final quality of additively manufactured components is strongly dependent on the quality of powder feedstock which influences process stability, porosity and ultimately mechanical properties as well. Precise control of powder quality is crucial, especially when metal powders are reused. Rheometry is an excellent tool to describe powder flow behavior – particle size analysis plays a key role in control of both the powder degradation and sieving processes.
