Advanced Materials Characterization by Gas Sorption Analysis

Advanced Materials Characterization by Gas Sorption Analysis

Porous and high surface area materials are widely used in many industrial processes including CO2 capture, catalysis, water treatment/purification and energy storage. This webinar will outline the best practices for characterizing porous materials by gas sorption analysis.

Specific topics that will be discussed include choosing the best gas for the specific material being analyzed, optimizing BET surface area analysis and using Density Functional Theory (DFT) to accurately analyze pore size and pore size distribution data.

This presentation will be useful for everyone from newcomers to the field to experts in gas sorption.
