Mechanical properties of micro particles: Compression tests via nanoindentation

Mechanical properties of micro particles: Compression tests via nanoindentation

Interested in learning how to measure the compressive properties of particles?

Is the stiffness of your powder particles or microbeads critical to your application?

If so, don’t miss our upcoming webinar on particle compression using a nanoindenter! In this session, you’ll discover how nano- and microindenters can be used for precise, controlled compression of individual particles to determine their mechanical properties. We’ll guide you through the key experimental considerations related to conducting reliable compression tests.

The webinar will feature case studies on the compression of:

  • Catalyst particles
  • Metallic powders for additive manufacturing
  • Polymer particles with conductive coatings
  • Battery electrode materials
  • Microbeads for targeted drug delivery

These examples span a wide range of material types, making this webinar valuable for researchers and engineers working in particle characterization across various industries.
