The Sugar Measurement System combines an MCP Sucromat for determining the sugar content (Pol, °Z) with an Abbemat refractometer for measuring dry substances (°Brix). This is a system which can significantly enhance sugar factories’ performance. The raw, intermediate, and final products of sugar manufacturing can be analyzed through sugar content (Pol, °Z), dry substance (°Brix), and apparent purity all in one cycle. Lead-clarified, lead-free clarified, or non-clarified samples can be measured.

The raw, intermediate, and final products of sugar manufacturing can be checked for sugar content (Pol, °Z), dry substances (°Brix) and apparent purity (%) – all in one cycle.

The polarimeter can also be equipped with the second official ICUMSA wavelength of 880 nm for analysis of alternative (lead-free) clarified sugar samples.

Neither humidity, temperature nor vibrations will influence the analysis performed with the robust Sugar Measurement System. This is due to the sensitive, optical and electronic components being located in a sealed housing that’s resistant to dust and spillage. To ensure durability, there are no moving parts inside the instruments. Long-life LED light sources, which remain maintenance-free for 100,000 hours, reduce instrument downtime to a minimum.
