Accessory for SAXSpoint 700:
USAXS Module

  • Automatic USAXS, SAXS, and WAXS studies via your SAXS instrumentation
  • Fully motorized experimental setup
  • Probing of structures from the nanometer to the micrometer level
  • Simultaneous, precise (± 0.1 °C) sample temperature control

Our USAXS module for the SAXSpoint 700 systems is a user-friendly experimental solution for characterizing materials from the nanometer to the micrometer level. The fully motorized setup allows users to obtain high-quality USAXS, SAXS, and WAXS data from their samples via automated, sequential X-ray scattering measurements, involving no manual interaction or change of the measurement configuration.

Key features

Automatic measurement of USAXS, SAXS, and WAXS data

Experience state-of-the-art SAXS instrumentation designed for maximum efficiency and precision. The USAXS module enables automatic, sequential acquisition of X-ray scattering data, providing high-quality USAXS, SAXS, and WAXS information in a single measurement. With its advanced design, it resolves structural details across a wide range – from Ångstroms to over 2.5 micrometers – all in one go, without any need for manual intervention. The result is a seamless workflow that delivers reliable, reproducible scattering data for comprehensive structural analysis at every scale.

High-performance components for precise results

Our advanced SAXS instrumentation ensures unmatched precision and stability throughout every measurement. It features automatic positioning of channel-cut crystal assemblies both in front of and behind the sample, guaranteeing optimal beam conditioning and alignment. A high-precision goniometer with an angular resolution of 0.0001° enables exceptionally accurate scanning of the X-ray scattering signal, capturing even the finest structural variations. Combined with high-resolution detection using EIGER2 R series HPC detectors, this system delivers superior data quality and sensitivity, making it ideal for demanding, small-angle X-ray scattering applications.

Optimized optical design for maximum intensity

The USAXS stage design is optimized to achieve the highest intensities, allowing you to quickly obtain meaningful results. The specially engineered optical setup permits flux values of up to 6 x 106 photons/s at the sample position.
