Regional Application & Product Specialist (m/f/x) Extrusion and Mixing - Region Asia Pacific

• Serve as the technical expert and point of contact for extrusion applications, providing advanced support to customers, distributors, and internal teams.

• Conduct sample testing, method development, and process optimization to ensure reliable, reproducible extrusion results to support to Anton Paar’s subsidiaries and their customers in Asia Pacific. 

• Plan and execute (virtual) demonstrations and technical training to sales & application and customer (both onsite and virtual), emphasizing application know-how and measurement accuracy in Asia Pacific.

• Work closely with product specialists, service, marketing and sales team to prepare application notes, technical reports, and case studies highlighting best practices and successful implementation.

• Responsible for managing the overall operations and development of the Regional Testing and Training laboratory in the Asia Pacific Technical Centre. 

• Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed effectively.

• Represent Anton Paar at technical conferences, exhibitions, and seminars as a subject matter expert in extrusion and polymer characterization.

• Support subsidiaries in APAC in conducting installations on customer site and providing the necessary customer training for complex installations. 

• Develop technical materials, provide feedback on existing training materials. 

• Support new product introductions through validation studies, documentation, and the creation of technical marketing materials.

• Participate in competitive benchmarking and technology evaluation to maintain Anton Paar’s technical advantage in extrusion and related fields. 

• Degree in Polymer Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

• Hands-on experience with polymer processing, extrusion, rheology, material characterization, or food processing technologies. 

• Strong presentation and communication skills with experience delivering technical training. 
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Asia Pacific region. 
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international teams.
