Inside Sales and Coordinator - Service

Anton Paar, one of the world leaders in laboratory instrumentation and services, has a new vacancy for an experienced Inside Sales & Coordinator-Service or ambitious administrator with a desire to grow. Based at the company's St Albans/Luton headquarters this role will report to the Service Manager and work closely with the service team. The successful candidate will be a part of a small team proactively selling service contracts to our customers and support the coordination of the service team.

Responsibilities:

·      Achievement of agreed targets for the service contract business through the inside sales process.

·      Management of the renewals for existing customer contracts plus the generation of leads for new contract business.

·      Invoice customers on receipt of orders and follow up on payment in the event of delays

·      Communicate with engineers and customers to plan maintenance visits 2 to 3 weeks in advance. Using CRM and other data sources/systems to see the upcoming work and book appointments

·      Preparing quotations and communicating with existing and potential customers by phone and email to negotiate, sell contracts and secure orders.

·      Maximising the contract value through the upselling of additional services and checking account details for additional instruments that could be included

·      Generate Service Orders for the contracts sold to allow the Service Engineers to deliver the required activities

·      Maintain the scheduling tools and engineer calendars to show all activity planned for the coming weeks.

·      Manage incoming technical enquiries from customers and allocate to the right resource for resolution

·     Re-plan workload as required to provide timely response and resolution to instrument breakdowns through organization of engineering resource and management of purchase orders

·     Run analysis to identify the spare part requirements for upcoming work, compare to available stock and ensure stock levels are appropriately maintained

·     Maximising the contract value through the upselling of additional services and checking account details for additional instruments that could be included

Requirements:

 

·         Previous experience in an inside sales or coordinator role

·         Strong administration experience

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills through all channels.

·         Self-motivated, highly organized, enthusiastic, can do attitude, able to work under own initiative

·         Good computer literacy. Competent in use of MS Office and CRM software 

·         Located in the South East with easy access of the St Albans/ Luton office
