Sales and Stock Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the stock room and its contents

  • Ensure goods In and goods out are recorded correctly and that stock levels are correctly maintained. Assist with engineer’s stock movements

  • Ensure MRP are accurate and stock is regularly ordered if needed

  • Responsible for Annual Stock Check completion and facilitate regular stock checks including main stock held by engineers, 1-2 per year

  • Facilitate loans for sales engineers to customers and manage their return. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure demo equipment is available for customers loans and demos, send reminders, and resolve discrepancies

  • Manage and maintain the loan database while organising and controlling demo equipment to ensure efficient tracking and availability

  • Implement and enforce structured processes for managing demo stock to ensure it is well maintained, accurately tracked, and available for internal and external use

  • Cover other admin duties and responsibilities when required - this may include processing customer quotes, posting vendor invoices, booking in goods requiring repair, invoicing customers for repairs and returning customer instruments

  • Process material requisition orders for stock for sales and service engineers

  • Covering/cross training for other admin tasks to ensure full coverage

  • Any other duties as might reasonably be expected or requested by the line manager

Your profile:

  • GCSEs grades 9-4

  • SAP/CRM would be advantageous but not mandatory

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential

  • Strong Analytical Skills and high attention to detail while multi-tasking

  • Excellent Communication skills and ability to adapt to change

  • Able to meet deadlines and work independently

  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
