ÖGR and Anton Paar announce the Rheology Prize
The Austrian Society of Rheology (ÖGR) and Anton Paar are pleased to announce the Rheology Prize 2025, recognizing outstanding Master's theses in the field of rheology. This 500 Euro prize is awarded to research that integrates rheology in its experimental work or explores innovative questions within the discipline. In addition, a credit voucher of 1,000 Euro (net) for Anton Paar products will be awarded to the working group in which the thesis was completed. A panel of rheology experts from Anton Paar will evaluate the submissions.

The deadline for thesis submission is August 31, 2025.
Requirements
The Rheology Prize 2025 is open to Master’s students who have completed their thesis in a rheology-related subject at an Austrian university. Eligible theses must have been completed between January 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025, and should focus on experimental or applied aspects of rheology.
Application Deadline
Submissions must be received by August 31, 2025. The winner will be announced after all entries have been reviewed, no later than October 20, 2025.
Award Ceremony
The Rheology Prize 2025 will be presented at the ÖGR Annual Meeting on November 14, 2025. The winner will be invited to present their research at the event.
