Microwave-Assisted Organic Synthesis – An Introduction

In this online seminar, presented by Prof. Dr. Oliver Kappe, you will get an overview about the principles of microwave chemistry.

Based on multiple application examples from all fields of chemistry, the advantage of modern synthesis reactors will be highlighted.

You will learn about:

  • The basics of microwave chemistry: microwave theory, dielectric heating
  • Different instrument types and their advantages
  • The importance of accurate temperature measurement in microwave synthesis
  • Applications of microwave chemistry
