Action Day 2013

2013-12-18 | Corporate

What does a mechatronics engineer do? What sort of tasks are involved in being an electrical engineer? What is it like to have a career in IT? These questions cannot really be answered by school books. The “Action Day” was aimed at interested 7- and 8-grade pupils. They spent the day in a company, learned a lot about different apprenticeships and took away hands-on experience which will help them make a decision about their future career.

15 young people came to Anton Paar and got to know about apprenticeships. They were also able to show their skills in mechanical and electronic production at Anton Paar’s headquarters in Graz/Austria.

This was made possible by a training project called “Your Job” initiated by the Industrial Association of Styria and realized by the Styrian Economic Society (STVG) together with eight companies in Graz, including Anton Paar.
