Material Brief: BET Surface Area and Pore Size Distribution of Activated Carbon - autosorb iQ

Activated carbon was analyzed using N2 (77 K) adsorption and CO2 (273 K) adsorption on the autosorb iQ. The BET surface area and pore size distribution were calculated from the data using appropriate DFT models.

The autosorb iQ was used to characterize the activated carbon F400 with N2 and CO2 adsorption. The adsorption isotherms measured were analyzed using the DFT model for pore size distribution. The surface area was calculated by the BET method.
