Field Services Engineer

• Providing technical support to customers via telephone and email.
• Performing on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs. Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair.
• Coordinating and performing onsite repairs and preventive maintenances according to established procedures and standards.
• Creating and maintaining service reports of the performed customer visits in the CRM.
• Interfacing with cross functional work teams such as applications, customer support/services and service administration.
• Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module as to log all Support Ticket and Service Orders in the CRM Service.
• Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock.

• Degree in Engineering / Electronics or equivalent
• Experience in the field of service of laboratory instruments is an advantage
• The ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction are essential
• Administration skills are required in order to work correctly with our CRM system.
• High technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Availability to travel throughout the defined territory (NL) and occasional visit to Headquarters for training
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English
• Ideally located centrally in the Netherlands
• Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license
