Anton Paar launches the Next-Level Density Meter

It has been a while since Anton Paar presented the first digital density meter at Achema in Frankfurt. Back in 1967, the DMA 02 C was the epitome of innovation in liquid analysis with a follow-up effect far into the future.

And even today, Anton Paar density meters are still world leaders, not least as a result of continuous further development. Although the measuring method itself has not changed in the last 50 years (oscillating U-tube technology), the technological progress has been immense.

The Next-Level Density Meter
This is also proven by the new Next-Level Density Meter. Driven by the unique Pulsed Excitation Method (PEM), the instrument guarantees an accuracy of 0.000005 g/cm3, making it the most accurate density meter in the world. The new series has also fulfilled the demands of a modern, digital measuring system for a long time already: high-speed operating system, increased memory with fast data export, high-resolution zoom camera and high-end touchscreen performance are now standard. The new instruments connect to a wide range of data interfaces, including Anton Paar's new AP-Connect data management platform.

What are the expectations for the new series?
The R&D team has been working on the new features of the DMA for more than five years in order to continue the success story of Anton Paar's density meters: On the one hand, the new Next-Level Density Meter will make it possible to successfully defend our leading position in the beverage and petroleum industries, and on the other hand, we will be able to strengthen our position in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical industries.

An overview of the three models in the new series:
- DMA 4101: The fastest and most efficient measurement - high performance for quality control with extremely fast measurement mode
- DMA 4501: The allrounder for all industries - the industry-proven instrument for precise measurements on wide range of samples
- DMA 5001: Highest precision for demanding samples - precise measurement mode for best performance in demanding high-end applications
