Anton Paar Malaysia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Austrian company Anton Paar GmbH. Anton Paar develops and produces state-of-the-art laboratory and process instrumentation for research and industry. It is the world leader in the measurement of density, concentration and CO2 and in the field of Rheology.

Responsibilities:

Accounting and Finance:

  • To handle full set of accounts, from entry posting to archiving documents in the system
  • To properly maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date monthly accounts, cash flow statement, staff claims, payroll and petty cash
  • To handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation and general accounting / finance functions
  • To oversee cash management and manage daily cash flow. Report submission every month to HQ
  • To perform dunning on a biweekly base and to monitor the collection by sending reminder letters and liaising with the team for updates
  • To prepare monthly payments to producing subsidiaries
  • To issue monthly invoices to producing subsidiaries to reimburse any incurred costs by the regional head office
  • To assist the regional head office with finance related matters
  • To assist in forecasting, budgeting, analyses of financial reports and related tasks
  • To assist the auditor with year-end audits and tax submission including liaison with external auditor and tax agent
  • To revise the tax computation every June and September
  • To liaise with bankers, company secretary, suppliers, lawyers and local authorities
  • To ensure that all documents related to annual closing are prepared in accordance to our company guideline (“Procedure of Annual Closing”) upon due date

Administration:

  • To be responsible for day to day operations and administrative tasks
  • To oversee the office and building facilities, systems and equipment
  • To implement necessary insurances for property, personnel, and liabilities
  • To establish and monitor the renewal of business license, MOF certificates and other local vendors’ registration for renewal
  • To be responsible for the general office administration such as office supply, mailings, upkeep and maintenance of office equipment and company vehicle, safety measures and cleanliness

Human Resources:

  • To be responsible for creating employee workflows and to maintain HR master data
  • To update and maintain the application database on regular basis
  • To handle HR Easily application issues (paid leave & expense claim management)
  • To Liaise with payroll outsource for monthly payroll process
  • To handle immigration matters for renewal of working permit for expatriates and dependents
  • To take care of employees welfare, i.e insurance, parking, office expenses
  • To be involved with recruitment in terms of posting the open vacancy into company website and other job portal

Requirements:

  • Profound knowledge & experience in Finance & Accounting
  • Excellent time management, prioritizing, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa Melayu
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly within a small team
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities and willingness to learn
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Preferably experience with SAP/R3 and CRM
