Sales Engineer - Measurement Products, East of England

Anton Paar, one of the world leaders in laboratory instrumentation and services, has a vacancy for a Sales Engineer responsible for its Measurement range of Lab Density, Optical, Viscometry, RAMAN spectroscopy and Petroleum testing products. 

Located in the East Midlands, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for the support of existing customers and new business development in the East of England territory. The successful candidate will join a motivated, international team.

 

 

 

Responsabilidades:

  • Managing existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up
  • Effective territory management and CRM utilisation
  • Negotiating and handling of sales projects 
  • Supporting customers in application and equipment evaluations
  • Participating at conferences and exhibitions
  • Supporting the development of marketing communications for your customers and territory
  • Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations and train customers on the correct use of their equipment
  • Working with other Anton Paar product groups to promote a complete solutions offering, combining our measurement portfolio with other product-lines such as Rheology, Microwave and Particle Characterisation

Requisitos:

  • Suitable candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics or related discipline
  • At least two years experience of successfully selling analytical instruments into a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, beverage, food, petro/chemical and academia
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, PhD level scientists and technicians
  • Availability to travel throughout the defined territory and occasional overseas visits for training and business meetings
  • Ideally located in the East Midlands with easy access to the main road network and with a full UK driving licence
