Characterization Techniques for Powders, Particles, and Porous Media

Quantitative, reliable, relevant, and robust.  These are the cornerstones for meaningful characterization techniques and the strengths of the Anton Paar instruments designed for the characterization of powders, particles and porous media. This one day seminar is designed to provide basic introductory information on the measurement of powder rheology (flow) and fluidization; particle size and distribution; bulk density, porosity, and surface area. Researchers, scientists, engineers, chemists, materials scientists, and students interested in these type of materials and their characterization are encouraged to register. To complement the seminar, on Wednesday September 25th, an optional hands-on workshop will be conducted for attendees wishing to return and make measurements on their own samples. There is limited seating available for our optional hands-on workshop.
