You always wanted to know what happens in your reaction vessel when it is heated in a microwave reactor? Now this question has been answered!

The combination of the new Monowave 400 R with the Cora 5001 Raman spectrometer offers a broad range full of new information that has not been available before. The Monowave 400 R can be easily coupled with the Cora 5001 Raman spectrometer by using a specially designed non-metallic fiber probe. The microwave reactor provides high-speed chemical reactions and the Raman spectrometer adds molecular spectroscopy for characterization.

Real-time in-situ reaction monitoring
Real-time information is obtained on the chemical composition of pressurized reactions and reaction behavior. In addition, time-resolved measurements can identify intermediates or transition states with short lifetimes to better understand reaction mechanisms.
