Expansion of the headquarters in Austria

At the end of February the Anton Paar kindergarten and the presentation laboratory were opened after successful extension work. The growth of Anton Paar and the corresponding increased need for space were the reasons for this expansion.

With the extension of the laboratory and the company kindergarten at the headquarters in Graz the first phase of expansion has now been completed. Building work started on August 10 last year. Since then a lot has happened. The kindergarten is now double its previous size, with space for 78 children.

Interest is great. Both nursery groups are full and there is even a waiting list. As of fall 2016, the kindergarten has three spaces free for the obligatory "kindergarten year" before school starts.

The children and their supervisors have 340 m2 of space in which to learn and play. From the fall, there will be 15 people employed at the kindergarten and nursery, some working part-time. Head of the kindergarten, Lisa Flachs, is enthusiastic: "I am proud to work in a company which aims to make it easier to combine career and family life and which is also concerned with the well-being of children and their education." She and the children particularly love the large gym - with room for 50 children to let off steam. Helena (6 years old) and Lukas (6 years old) agree: "The gym is sooo big! It's the best!"

The presentation and training laboratory also now boasts 340 m2 of space. Besides space for numerous new instruments, there is also an additional training room for training sessions with the international Sales and Service employees of Anton Paar.

The next building phase at the headquarters in Graz will start soon. In summer building work will begin on a new company restaurant which will also have a demonstration brewery and allow brewing of Anton Paar's own beer.
