Applied Rheology for the Oil Industry
This two day workshop is aimed at those interested in how rheological measurements can be used to characterize crude oil, oilfield, and pipeline chemicals.
Whether you wish to learn more about factors which impact viscosity or you want to move beyond viscosity and learn how rheological measurements are used to identify structural strength and other basic material properties, this is the right workshop for you.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand how rotational and oscillatory measurements are made and used
- Recognize the various types of flow and viscoelastic behaviors
- Identify the appropriate rheological test to resolve a variety of materials characterization needs for crude oils, oilfield, and pipeline chemicals
Engineers, chemists, students, and laboratory personnel will find the workshop information to be helpful in solving problems relating to these types of materials.
