Dynamic Mechanical Analysis: Theory and Applications
This workshop is designed to provide an introduction to Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) for persons in academia and industry. The theoretical basis behind DMA measurements will be covered along with the test methods and the information gained from them. The various DMA test fixtures will be introduced and guidelines provided for determining which to use for a given material. The workshop will conclude with a hands-on session which will include sample loading, test setup, and data interpretation.
