TORC 5000 | Chemical | The Hardening Point of Reactive Adhesives

Monitoring the curing process of reactive adhesives e.g. epoxy resin with Thermo-optical Oscillating Refraction Characterization - TORC

With over 42 mio tonnes per annum, reactive adhesives are the most popular and common glue typ. The hardening is based on a chemical reaction. The multi-part adhesives harden by mixing two or more chemical components which chemically react. Examples are polyurethane resins or epoxy resins. The one-part adhesives harden via chemical reaction with an external energy source, such as uv-light or heat. Examples are uv-curing or heat curing epoxy resins.
