Material Brief: ZSM-5 Zeolite – BET Area and Pore Size Distribution – autosorb iQ

ZSM-5 zeolite was analyzed using N2 (77 K) and Ar (87 K) adsorption on the autosorb iQ. The relevant DFT method was used to perform pore size analysis.

ZSM-5 is microporous and its surface chemical properties have been widely studied and applied in catalytic reactions as well as in separation and purification processes. Adsorption studies were performed both with nitrogen at 77 K and argon at 87 K on ZSM-5. The autosorb iQ XR adsorption analyzer was used for the study. The appropriate density functional theory (DFT) method was applied to perform pore size distribution analysis.
