Material Brief: Activated Carbon – Micropore Size Distribution using CO2 Adsorption – Nova x00 Series
Activated carbon was analyzed using CO2 (273 K) adsorption on the Nova 800. The micropore size distribution was calculated from the data using the appropriate DFT model.
The adsorption of CO2 at 273 K is commonly used to characterize activated carbons for micropore size distribution. The Nova 800 was used to characterize the activated carbon F400 with CO2 (273 K) adsorption. The adsorption isotherms measured were analyzed using the DFT model for micropore size distribution.
