Sales Manager Petrochemical Industry – Region Asia Pacific

Anton Paar Malaysia Sdn Bhd | Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya

The Sales Manager Petrochemical is responsible for the budgeted turnover and marketing as well as know-how development for the Petrochemical product portfolio of Anton Paar within the Asia-pacific region.


  • Responsible to grow the Anton Paar business in the petrochemical industry in the region Asia Pacific and consistently meet / excel the sales target for the Petrochemical product portfolio of Anton Paar
  • Develop the market and apply sales strategies to increase market penetration and initiate marketing campaigns for the petro chemical industry
  • Feed back the relevant requirements and future needs of the customers into the R&D and product management organization of Anton Paar
  • Mentor, support and build up the know-how of technical sales representatives in the subsidiaries of the region when required
  • Carry out regional sales trainings for the respective product line
  • Key Account Management: identify and develop long-lasting and sustainable relationships with 3-5 biggest multinational potential customers in the industry and set actions to meet / excel the budget. 


  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales in the petrochemical industry
  • Experience in sales of analytical instrumentation and large account management 
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, must be fluent in English
  • Strong selling, negotiation and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, can do attitude, able to work under own initiative
  • Willingness to travel within the region as well as overseas 
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills 
  • Know how of SAP ERP, CRM would be beneficial
