Anton Paar TriTec SA develops, manufactures and markets high-quality instruments for measuring the properties of mechanical surfaces in the fields of research and industry. The Product Manager assumes corporate responsibility for a specific product line and represents the company as a technical expert with respect to the assigned product line. The Product Manager must understand the assigned products in all technical and application aspects and identify market and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates all tasks in relation to the assigned product line regarding R&D, marketing, sales and applications.
Performs market and competitive analysis from relevant sources such as marketing reports and research, publications, conferences, etc.
Researches and identifies new market opportunities by attending trade shows, conferences and product demonstrations.
Collects and analyzes price and sales data and tracks competitive pricing trends. Suggests price level adjustments to improve market positioning.
Independently makes suggestions regarding the improvement of the product portfolio.
Initiates, coordinates and supports R&D projects.
Formulates project goals and frameworks and supports product reviews.
Uses advanced scientific knowledge and principles to instruct sales people and customers in the proper use of highly complex instruments.
Applies scientific knowledge and principles to asses training needs, develops training materials and delivers training courses through seminars and webinars.
Maintains the highest level of knowledge of the company’s products and services and the underlying scientific and technical principles.

Requirements:

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in materials science, physics, mechanical or chemical engineering

· 3 years of experience in the analytical instrumentation industry

· Knowledge of analytical measurement principles and analysis of scientific principles

· Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent presentation skills

· English is a must, German is a plus.
