Are you interested in the state-of-the-art mechanical testing of surfaces? Is working with new technology and contact with various applications from industry and academia appealing to you? Do you want to become an expert in instrumented indentation and tribology? Then we might have a job for you at Anton Paar TriTec. Our company develops and manufactures high quality instruments for measuring surface mechanical properties that are used by top laboratories around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform measurements in our demonstration laboratory, including suitable method selection as well as analysis of results and report writing,
  • Provide customers and sales subsidiaries with advanced support related to the use of our instruments and software in their applications,
  • Use your expert knowledge to educate sales people and customers on the proper use of our instruments in our facility or on customer site,
  • Perform validation of newly developed instruments and provide feedback for continuous improvements of our products,
  • Participate as an expert in collaboration projects with external and internal partners.

Requirements:

  • You have Master’s degree in materials science, mechanical engineering or similar,
  • You are autonomous and creative person with strong will to learn new technologies,
  • You like experimental work and you summarize clearly your results,
  • You integrate well into a team of application engineers,
  • You are CH or EU resident,
  • Knowledge of instrumented indentation or tribology is an advantage.
  • English. Good command of French is required.
