Seminar Format and Speaker

The workshop will be delivered live by our special guest, Dr. Christopher Giehl. He studied mineralogy with a major in Material Sciences and holds a PhD in Volcanology. He has been with Anton Paar Germany GmbH since 2018, now occupying the role of Manager of Product Competence Team and Global Training and Communication Manager for Rheometry. His fields of interests cover material properties and applications of glass melts, energy materials, paints and coatings, polymers, adhesives and food materials.

Ÿ Rotational tests and their application; types of flow behavior

Ÿ Types of flow behavior, thixotropy, temperature dependency

Ÿ Visco-elastic behavior
