Recent Developments In Surface Zeta Potential Measurements

Solids in contact with a liquid show a distribution of charges different from the bulk solid and liquid phases. The accumulated surface charges form the so-called electrochemical double layer, with a plane of shear separating the immobile and the diffuse layer; the potential at the interface between the two layers is known as the zeta potential. The magnitude and sign of the zeta potential provides information on the chemical and physical properties of the solid surface, and the interaction between the solid surface and the components of the liquid.

This webinar aims to present the recent developments in zeta potential measurements of large solid surfaces such as adsorption monitoring and specialized measuring cells to determine zeta potential of hollow fiber membranes, tubing, contact lenses and others.
