Description:

In this seminar we want to share with you our knowledge on powder rheology and particle sizing. The new powder shear cell will be introduced which allows to determine how temperature and humidity impact powder behavior, like flowability. Multiple application cases will be discussed both for powder rheology and particle sizing, giving you a good understanding of the field before the hands-on sessions in the afternoon.


During the seminar, we will discuss the three different models of laser diffraction analyzers to measure particle size and particle size distribution of your powder in dry or liquid dispersion – all with just one singe instrument. Anton Paar’s PSA helps you to know the particle size and homogeneity of your sample, which influences the performance of the raw material and therefore the final product quality.

Powder Rheology: Performing measurements using the new powder shear cell using the software RheoCompass.

 

Particle Characterization: Performing measurements on the Particle Size Analyzer and correct handling of software.
